"CourtSauce is a family of racquet sports apps built on a watch-first design philosophy: Apple Watch is the primary scoring surface, the phone handles context, and together they replace the clipboard and the guesswork. CourtSauce Pickleball, CourtSauce Tennis, and CourtSauce Squash are all available now on the App Store — each handles its sport's specific scoring logic, automatic rotation tracking, voice notes during play, HealthKit fitness integration, match history, and an optional Stats subscription for advanced analytics at $1/month.
CourtSauce Tournaments and CourtSauce Leagues — web-based platforms for tournament management and seasonal league administration — are coming soon after the sport apps are stable.
CourtSauce is built by Mario Voltolina at Innovation Unknown Inc. in Oakville, Ontario, Canada. The company is focused on building tools for the players who actually play — software that disappears during the rally and surfaces useful information when you need it, without requiring accounts or collecting data you haven't chosen to share."
Founder, Innovation Unknown Inc.
Mario Voltolina is the founder of CourtSauce and a regular pickleball player based in Oakville, Ontario. He built the first version of CourtSauce Pickleball out of frustration with the existing apps — most of which treated scoring as an afterthought while optimising for social ladders and data collection.
Mario has spent years in music production and information technology, approaching software with the same attention to craft that good audio engineering requires. Innovation Unknown Inc. is the corporate home for CourtSauce and other software projects.
He is available for interviews, podcasts, and media coverage on racquet sports technology, Apple Watch app development, and building consumer software as a solo developer.
